At a glance
- This website sets no tracking cookies. We only use analytics or marketing services with your consent – none is active at the moment.
- Fonts and code libraries are loaded from our own server, not from third parties.
- We only process personal data if you contact us or request a call.
- For the voice demo, your browser’s speech recognition service processes your recording (see below).
Visiting the website (server log files)
When you access the website, our hosting provider Infomaniak Network SA, Schweiz stores technically necessary information: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This data is used solely for secure and stable operation, is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short time unless it is needed to investigate a security incident.
Contact and requesting a first call
If you email us or request a call via “Let’s talk”, we process the information you provide: name, email address or phone number, industry, preferred time and any message.
We use this information only to respond to your request and prepare the call. The request is sent to HighLevel (LeadConnector), USA or – if you choose this option – sent to us as a prefilled email from your own email program.
We delete the information as soon as it is no longer needed, unless a contract is concluded or a statutory retention obligation requires otherwise.
Live demo: chat and voice
The text chat in the demo runs entirely in your browser. What you type is neither sent to us nor stored.
For the voice demo, the website uses your browser’s speech recognition. The microphone is only active if you switch it on yourself and your browser allows it. In Chrome and Edge, the recording is sent to the browser maker’s speech recognition service (Google or Microsoft) and processed there, possibly outside Switzerland. Their privacy policies apply; we receive neither the recording nor the recognised text. The spoken reply is generated locally by your browser.
Cookie settings and local storage
We store two pieces of information in your browser’s local storage (localStorage): your language choice (DE, FR, IT or EN) and your choice in the cookie notice (analytics and marketing yes or no, with the date). This way the website appears in your language next time and we don’t ask again. This information never leaves your device.
No analytics or marketing services are integrated at the moment. If we add any, they will only load after your consent and will be listed here with provider and purpose. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookies” in the footer or delete it in your browser.
Disclosure to third parties and abroad
We only share personal data with service providers we need to run the website and handle requests (in particular Infomaniak Network SA, Schweiz and HighLevel (LeadConnector), USA), and only to the extent necessary. These providers process the data on our behalf.
If a recipient is located in a country without adequate data protection, we ensure protection through appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in the version recognised by the FDPIC. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases under the GDPR
Where the GDPR applies, we base the processing on our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), on taking steps prior to entering into a contract when you make an enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, where necessary, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You can at any time request information about the personal data we process about you and ask for it to be corrected, deleted or handed over, object to the processing and withdraw any consent. Just write to us at hello@sympha.ch.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with a supervisory authority in the EU.
Data security
The website is only served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
Sympha in use by our customers
When a business uses Sympha for its own customer communication, we process its customers’ messages on its behalf. That business is then the controller; our processing is governed by the contract, our terms and a data processing agreement.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy, for example if the website or the legal situation changes. The current version published on this website applies.
